Accept, Believe, Confess 

 

A) GOD’S PLAN: ACCEPT, LOVE & LIVE
God loves us and wants us to experience His gifts of peace, love, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control, and true life. But first we must believe. The WORD of God says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16 (KJV)  

B) MAN’S PROBLEM: SEPARATION BY SIN
Being at peace with God is not automatic because humans by nature are separated from God. The WORD of God says, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 (KJV)

C) GOD’S ANSWER: JESUS CHRIST
God’s love bridges the gap of separation between God and everyone who accepts Him. When Jesus died on the cross, He paid the penalty for our past, present, and future sins. The WORD of God says, " Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." 1 Peter 2:24 (KJV)

MAN’S ANSWER: RECEIVE CHRIST
We are united into God’s family when we receive Christ as our PERSONAL Savior. The WORD of God says, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" John 1:12 (KJV)

TO RECEIVE CHRIST:
• Accept Jesus Christ into your Life.
• Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross.
• Confess- "I have sinned".  Depart from your sin, repent and be willing to seek after Godliness


SALVATION PRAYER: 

Father God, I realize that  I am a sinner and that "All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God".  I ask right now for forgiveness of my sins, I depart from them, and I invite your Son, the crucified and risen Christ, to come into my life as my personal Savior. I accept Christ for who He is, the Son of God, and what he has done for me.  He and the Father are one and that He died for my sins.   Now and forever  I  am saved and that no one or nothing can pluck me from the Father's hand. . Thank you  Lord for saving me, my hope rests in you for eternal life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
 

ADDITIONAL SCRIPTURES AND ASSURANCE OF SALVATION: 

Romans 3:10 - "As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one."

 Romans 6:23 - “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ our Lord” 

Romans 5:8 - “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

 Romans 10: 9-10 - “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth, the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved”

Romans 10:13 - "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

No matter who you are  God is here for you.

No matter where you have been…God is here for you.

If the Lord has touched your heart…We are here for you.
